Waterjet Cutting and Profiling Service

At Laser Tech Profiles we also have a machine which does water jet profiles and cutting using a CNC guided high pressure water jet.

The advantages of using water jet cutting or profiling is that the water removes the debris and cools the material, eliminating the creation of a heat reflective zone.  This maintains the total integrity of the materials original specification and structure.  The other advantage of waterjet cutting or profiling is that the machine will cut virtually any material and this combined with a reduced cutting kerf width enables significant savings in material utilisation.

Our Water Jet cutting service uses the latest bystronic byjet and bysoft equipment enabling Laser Tech Profiles to produce consistently accurate competitively priced components. We can supply this service for one off items or batches depending on your cutting and profiling requirements.

The type of materials profiled using Water Jet include:-

  • Acrylic
  • Aluminium
  • Brass
  • Copper
  • Glass
  • GRP
  • Nylon
