The Optiplex advanced laser machine incorporates the latest technology for higher productivity and has been designed with environmental considerations. There are three main categories to explain this exceptional laser machine:-
Intelligent functions for reduced setup time, a general laser machine will take a total of 26 minutes from nozzle changing to profiling whereas the Optiplex 3015 laser machine take a total of 3 minutes, giving it an 88% reduction in setting up times.
Preventative function avoid unexpected machine down time, minimize time consuming preparation, setup changes and extended automatic operation time. All of these factors contribute to considerably higher productivity.
The Optiplex 3015 has considerable time reduction for cutting medium to thick sheets. The new servo system automatically sets the optimum focal point by program command, there is currently a patent pending on this system. The time comparison for normal piercing of a Mild Steel with 16mm thickness, size 3000×1500 with 375 holes would be 4hrs and 40 minutes from piercing to cutting whereas the Optiplex 3015 only takes 2 hours and 20 mins, thus saving alot of time.
The laser beam is directed from the laser resonator to the cutting torch using Mazak’s exclusive constant beam length delivery system. Stable production is realised thanks to the constant beam length that provides uniform cutting performance anywhere on the table. Generally, flying optics construction has the issue that the laser beam quality is not stable when the laser delivery distance changes. As a result, cutting performance is not the same at different table locations. The Optiplex 3015 is equipped with a U-axis in order to maintain constant laser beam delivery length for stable cutting in any position on the machine table.
The environment and out impact on natural surroundings have always been an important concern for Yamazaki Mazak. This is shown by all the factories in Japan where Mazak machine tools are produced are ISO 14001 certified, an international standard confirming that the operation of the production facilities does not adversely affect air, water of land. The Optiplex 3015 laser processing machine is produced in an underground factory incorporating the most advanced technology available for the production of laser machines. The entire assembly area is a clean room which minimizes dust contamination of the beam delivery mirror and the torch lenses. As a result, the time required for machine assembly is reduced. Underground assembly area is at least 30 times cleaner than a conventional factory above ground.
